Compare the Ford Bronco Sportto the Competition at Ciocca Ford of Souderton
When you live an adventurous lifestyle that includes your family, you need the right kind of SUV.
While the Ford lineup offers many exciting options, the Ford Bronco Sport is one of the newest options and ready for any getaway you want. With comfortable family seating configurations, off-road capability, and plenty of innovative technology, the Bronco Sport is the right SUV for you.
But not lineup truly stands alone at the top, right? Like any other model, the Ford Bronco Sport has rivals, like the Jeep Cherokee and Toyota RAV4. We're excited to show you how the Bronco Sport stands against its competition and why we prefer to put ourselves at the wheel of the best possible option. Check out how they compare below, and let us know how we can help you find the perfect fit for your drive.

Ford Bronco Sport vs. Jeep Cherokee
When you need a vehicle equipped for adventure anywhere, the Ford Bronco Sport has the right capability. The lineup comes standard with four-wheel drive and a Terrain Management Systemâ„¢ with up to seven G.O.A.T Modesâ„¢ available. G.O.A.T means Go Over Any Terrain, meaning you can take on mud, gravel, dirt, sand, snow, and more, all without worry that you'll get stuck along the way. The Jeep Cherokee offers four-wheel drive, but you'll need to pay extra because it's not a standard feature.
The Bronco Sport offers two engine options, a 1.5-liter EcoBoost® and 2.0-liter EcoBoost. While the Jeep Cherokee does offer three engine choices, you'll find that the Ford SUV is better equipped with more power and performance capability. The Ford Bronco Sport's 1.5-liter EcoBoost® outputs 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque, outperforming the Jeep Cherokee's 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet, respectively.
The Jeep lineup might have the Trail-Rated badging, but that doesn't mean it outperforms the Ford Bronco Sport in these areas. The Bronco Sport offers 23.6-inches of water-fording capability and 8.8-inches of ground clearance through its Badlands trim configuration. The Jeep Cherokee can't match either of these numbers, making it less adept at navigating rough terrain.
Ford Bronco Sport vs. Toyota RAV4
The RAV4 is a fun and functional family SUV, but it can't hold a candle to the Ford Bronco Sport when it comes to performance and capability. The RAV4 only offers all-wheel drive as an option, requiring you to pay more for a system that doesn't match the Bronco Sport's four-wheel drive in traction control or handling on trails. The Toyota SUV also comes equipped with a 2.5-liter engine that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque - the Ford SUV's 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine blows it out of the water.
Inside, you'll find the Ford Bronco Sport offers a unique infotainment system to make your ride more enjoyable. The SYNC® 3 system comes equipped with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, complete with an eight-inch touchscreen. While the RAV4 does offer a touchscreen standard with the same smartphone integration, its standard touchscreen is only seven inches.
When you're ready for adventure, you'll want to climb into the driver's seat of the Ford Bronco Sport. The lineup comes standard with features that include roof rails, a built-in bottle opener, an LED floodlight in the rear, a safari-style roof that can support a 150-pound dynamic load, and so much more! While the RAV4 hardly lacks exciting features, the lineup isn't equipped for your next camping trip like the Ford Bronco Sport!
