When you're out with your family, you want to be safe because you love them. But you can't make other people drive safely around you. So you need to take steps to stay safe from the potentially dangerous drivers you may encounter while on the road.
While driving, make sure that you keep at least three to four seconds of time between you and the vehicle in front of you. This will ensure you have enough stopping time or reaction time if something happens.
When you stop at a stop sign, make sure you stop completely. By counting for a few seconds and looking in all directions, you can proceed safely through the intersection.
Driving the speed limit or a little slower is a good practice. The faster you drive, the less time you'll have to stop. Slow down and play it safe.
Driving safely on the road should be everyone's goal!
